Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing the Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag for a while now. It’s just so classic, you know? I mean, everyone’s been rocking it – Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, all the cool girls. I finally decided to go for it, but I wanted to do it my way. I did a bit of digging and found out that these bags are all the rage, like, the most wanted bag of 2022! No wonder I’ve been seeing them everywhere.
First, I had to figure out where to even start. I didn’t want to buy a fake, so I had to find an actual Prada store. I hit up Google and, turns out, there’s a Prada in Selfridges on Oxford Street, in the Shoe Galleries on the 2nd floor. Perfect! I made a note of their number too, just in case I got lost: 02073183059.
So, I hopped on the tube, got to Selfridges, and made a beeline for the shoe section. And there it was, the Prada section, shining like a beacon. They had tons of stuff – shoulder bags, mini bags, bucket bags, you name it. They even had backpacks and tote bags! But my eyes were on the prize: the Re-Edition 2005.
I tried on a few, feeling the nylon, checking out the leather details. It’s crazy how they’ve pulled designs from their old stuff and made them new again, right? These Re-Edition bags are inspired by their archives. I guess it makes sense that you gotta take care of them and store them properly if you want them to hold their value. After all they come with a factory code, which helps with authentication.
I ended up going with the classic black Re-Edition 2005. It just felt right. It’s the perfect size, not too big, not too small. And it goes with everything! I’ve been using it every day since.
After I got home, I was curious about whether there were other options besides buying brand new. I found this place called Bagista online where you can buy, sell, and even swap designer bags. That’s pretty cool if you’re looking for a deal or want to trade in an old bag for something new. It seems they have a lot of luxury accessories.
Anyway, that’s my Prada Re-Edition 2005 story. It was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it. I feel so chic and put together with my new bag! If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it! You won’t regret it.
