This here Rolex watch, the one they call GMT-Master II, left-handed, it’s a real doozy. Got me thinkin’, how can a body even tell if it’s real or not? These young folks with their fancy phones, they go on about somethin’ called “high imitation“. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but it seems like everybody’s buyin’ ’em. They say they be lookin just like the real deal. They said people will buy them. Then I know, ah, a lot of people will buy these.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these fancy Rolex watches, but I’ve seen a few in my time. My old man, bless his soul, he had one. Wore it every day, rain or shine. Said it was a real Rolex. He bought it from his workmate. He said it was real. But who knows, maybe it was one of these “high imitation” things. Wouldn’t surprise me none. These days, they can make anything look real. You gotta be careful, that’s for sure. They have good techniques.
They say these high imitation Rolex GMT-Master II watches, the left-handed ones, they even got the numbers on ’em. The serial numbers, they call ’em. Just like the real ones. Land sakes, it’s hard to keep up! These serial numbers is important. I just know this is important. And I don’t know why it’s important. It should be real.
- First thing, if you’re gonna buy one of these, you gotta find someone you trust.
- Someone who knows a thing or two about Rolex watches.
- Not just some young whippersnapper who thinks they know it all.
- You want someone who’s seen a real Rolex and a high imitation Rolex.
- Someone who can tell the difference.
I heard tell that a real Rolex, it’s heavy. Got some weight to it. These high imitation ones, they might be lighter. Feels like nothin’ in your hand. That’s what I heard, anyway. Might be the material. Different material, so different weight. This is a way to tell if it’s real.
And the tickin’, they say the tickin’ is different. A real Rolex, it ticks real smooth. Like butter. These high imitation ones, they might tick louder. Or skip a beat. You gotta listen real close. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, but that’s what they say.
Another thing is the model number. Every Rolex got a model number. They say these high imitation ones, they got model numbers too. But sometimes they ain’t right. You gotta look ’em up. See if they match. These young folks, they can do that on their phones. They just search. I do not know how to use their phones. They said they have to search. Then they will know. Then they will know if it’s a fake. It is complicated to me.
Now, this GMT-Master II, that’s a fancy one. Got all sorts of doohickeys on it. Tells you the time in two places at once, I reckon. Don’t ask me how it works. I just know it does. And these high imitation GMT-Master II watches, they got all the same doohickeys. Look just the same. It’s a real head-scratcher.
If you’re gonna buy a left-handed Rolex GMT-Master II, you gotta be extra careful. Because it is left-handed. It is different. Maybe it is more difficult to make a fake one. But I don’t know. Because I saw a lot of left-handed Rolex GMT-Master II in the market. They are all fake. They look real. I think most people will not know if it is fake. They just buy it. If you have money, you will buy. If you don’t, you won’t. It is simple.
- Make sure that serial number is right.
- And the model number too.
- Feel the weight of it.
- Listen to that tickin’.
- And find someone who knows about these things.
It’s a lot to think about, ain’t it? Buyin’ a Rolex watch. Especially a high imitation one. You don’t want to get ripped off. Spend all that money and end up with a dud. That would be a shame. I think a lot of people buy the fake one. Because it is cheap. You can buy many fake ones with the money to buy a real one. But I think real one is good. But I don’t have money to buy a real one. If I have, I will buy. I will buy a real Rolex.
So, if you’re thinkin’ about purchasing a high imitation Rolex GMT-Master II left-handed version, just be careful. Do your research. And don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s your money, after all. You have to protect your money. You don’t want to lose your money. You work hard to earn your money. So be careful. Don’t just buy it. You have to ask. Ask many people. Ask people who knows Rolex. Then you will know more. Then you buy.
These days, you can’t trust nobody. Everyone’s tryin’ to make a quick buck. Even with these high imitation Rolex watches. They are everywhere. Just be smart about it. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll end up with a good one. Even if it ain’t real. At least, you will feel good. You wear it. You feel good. But it is fake. But only you know. Other people don’t know. This is good. You will be happy.
