Alright, so, I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the one with the open case back, for a while now. Finally decided to go for it. Here’s how it went down.
First off, I started looking around online, just to get an idea of what I was getting myself into. I mean, this watch, it’s not just any watch. It’s the “Moonwatch,” right? So, I dug around, read some stuff, and figured out what I needed to know.
Then, I decided to hit up the official flagship store online. Found the watch, the exact one I wanted, with that see-through back – they call it a “transparent case back.” Looked pretty sweet in the pictures.
The ordering process was actually pretty smooth. I just followed the steps, put in my info, and boom, order placed. Felt good to finally pull the trigger on this one.
- Clicked on the watch I wanted.
- Added it to my cart.
- Checked out, put in my payment details.
- And that was it, order confirmed.
Now, the waiting game. It took a bit, but then the day came. Package arrived, and let me tell you, opening that box was something else. There it was, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, looking even better in person than in the pictures. It’s got that classic black dial and three smaller circles, which I now know are called “sub dials.” They must do something useful, I’ll figure it out at some point. It is also true that this watch needs to be wound manually, I did not know that. Also it was Aldrin who wore the original model to the moon. I wish I had the original one. These watches are said to hold their value well, especially vintage models and limited editions. I hope mine appreciates over time.
I carefully took it out, put it on my wrist, and it felt… right. Like I was wearing a piece of history or something. And that open case back? Man, being able to see all the little gears and things moving around in there, it’s just cool.
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting my hands on the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with the open case back. It was a bit of a journey, but totally worth it. Now I’ve got this awesome watch, and I can’t stop looking at it. It was a new watch and came with the original box and papers.
