You know, I heard people talking ’bout this here watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, the other day. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They say it’s a real good one, specially made for them astronaut folks. Ain’t that somethin’? This one here, it’s like an upgrade, you know? Like when you get a new hoe ’cause the old one’s all rusty. They had another one before, back in ’98, they called it the Speedmaster Professional X-33. But this new one, the Skywalker, they made it better.
They started makin’ these fancy watches in 2014, I reckon. Not just for the space folks, but for other people too. Multi-functional, they call it. I don’t know all them fancy words, but I guess it means it does a whole lot of stuff. More than just tellin’ time, that’s for sure! It’s gotta be tough, you know, to go up there where there ain’t no air. I wouldn’t want to go, no sir. But these watches, they can handle it.
Now, I seen the box it comes in. Real nice, it is. Got a little drawer that pops out, all secret-like. That’s where they put the book that tells you how to work it, and some other papers. I can’t read all that fancy writin’, but it looks important. I guess if you’re gonna spend all that money on a watch, you want a nice box to keep it in, right? It’s like when you get a new pair of shoes, you want to keep the box to store ’em in. Otherwise, they just get all scuffed up. This is called Presentation. I think it’s kind of important.

Folks talk a lot about this watch, some love it. I heard them saying that. Or some don’t like it. But It is an advanced one, I heard them young people say that. Pilot watch or whatever. This is a review, full review. I don’t know what review is. They say it like that, sound fancy.
This one fella, he said he got a real good deal on one of these Speedmaster X-33 things. Said it was a bargain. I don’t know ’bout bargains when it comes to these highfalutin watches, but he seemed happy. Said it had somethin’ to do with space history. I guess that makes it worth more, like them old quilts your grandma used to make. The older they are, the more they’re worth, even if they got a few holes in ’em.
Now, every one of these Omega watches, they got a special number on ’em. Like a secret code, almost. It’s got 14 numbers, can you believe it? Each number means somethin’ different. Like, the first three numbers, they tell you what kind of watch it is. This one here, the Speedmaster, it starts with 311. Then the next two numbers, they tell you what it’s made of. This one’s made of somethin’ called titianium. Sounds strong, don’t it? Like titanium, somethin’ like that. This one, it’s 45 mm. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds big. And it’s got a black dial, with a screen on it. Like a tiny little TV on your wrist. And the band is titianium too, grade 2 and 5, whatever that means. It’s got this thing called the OMEGA calibre 5619. It’s a quartz movement, they say. Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a science book, don’t it? It can even make a sound when you want it to, like an alarm. These watches they made, real complicated stuff.
They started makin’ these Speedmaster watches way back in 1957. But it wasn’t ’til 1965 that they started usin’ ’em in space. That’s when NASA said they were good enough for their astronauts. And get this, they even wore ’em on the moon! That’s why they call it the “Moonwatch.” Can you imagine that? A watch that’s been to the moon! It’s like somethin’ out of a storybook.
Now, if you’re gonna get yourself one of these fancy watches, you gotta be careful. Make sure it’s a real one, not some cheap knock-off. You gotta look at the material, they say. Make sure it’s made of the good stuff. And check for them numbers, make sure they’re right. There should be some on the back of the watch, too. It’s like checkin’ the tag on a new dress, make sure it’s from the right store, you know? This one is Classic Style. That’s important, I think.
This here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, it’s a real piece of work. All them little parts, workin’ together to tell the time and do all sorts of other things. It’s like a little miracle, almost. I may not understand all the ins and outs of it, but I can appreciate the work that went into makin’ it. It’s a good watch, I reckon. A real good watch. Maybe one day I’ll get me one, if I win the lottery or somethin’. But for now, I’ll just keep on listenin’ to what folks say about it. It’s interestin’ stuff, even if it is a bit over my head.
