You see, this bag, this YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s somethin’ else. My granddaughter, she showed it to me on her phone, all shiny and fancy. Said it was a remake, an original order, whatever that means. Just looks like a good bag to me.
They call it the JUNE BOX BAG. Sounds silly, don’t it? Like a box you put your lunch in. But I guess rich folks like to name things fancy. This one, it’s all square-like, hard, not like those soft, floppy things. Got a flap on the front, like an envelope. And a shiny gold thing on it, shaped like YSL. I reckon that stands for somethin’ important.

This here bag, it ain’t cheap. My granddaughter, she told me the price. Nearly made me fall right out of my chair! But I guess if you want somethin’ nice, you gotta pay. And this Yves Saint Laurent bag, it sure is nice. She says it is worth more than $2000. Oh my goodness!
They say it’s a remake of somethin’ older. Like they took an old thing and made it new again. I do that with my quilts all the time. Take old scraps and make somethin’ pretty. Guess these fancy folks do the same with their bags.
Now, this YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s got a strap. You can wear it across your body. Keep your hands free for other things. Like holdin’ onto the railing when you go down the stairs, or carryin’ your groceries. Practical, that’s what I like.
This brand, YSL, my granddaughter says it used to be called Yves Saint Laurent, just like the bag is called. That is a long name. I don’t know what it means. She says that is a French name. I don’t know any French. Just English, and not very good English neither. But, I know this bag is very popular. Everybody wants a YSL bag.
Inside, it’s all soft. Suede, they call it. Like the inside of a glove. Good for keepin’ your things safe, I reckon. Don’t want your lipstick gettin’ all scratched up.
Got a little pocket inside, too. For your money, maybe. Or your keys. I always lose my keys in my big old purse. Maybe a little pocket like that would help.
My granddaughter also says this June Box Bag is very hot now. Every young lady wants one. I don’t know. When I was young, we didn’t have any fancy bags like this. But now these bags are like the new fashion.

They make all sorts of fancy things, these Saint Laurent folks. Clothes, shoes, jewelry. All that stuff. But I think this bag is the best of ’em all. It’s just so… neat. And tidy. And shiny.
I saw some people say this YSL bag is for ladies who don’t have much money. I don’t understand. It is very expensive! My granddaughter says it is because it is cheaper than other YSL bags. Oh, these rich people.
They say this YSL JUNE BOX BAG is an investment. Like buyin’ land, or gold. It’ll be worth more later on. I don’t know about all that. But I do know it’s a beautiful bag. And if you got the money, why not?
If I was a young lady again, and I had the money, I might buy one of these YSL JUNE BOX BAGs myself. It’s just so pretty. And it looks like it would last a long time. Longer than me, probably!
But for now, I’ll just admire it from afar. And maybe ask my granddaughter to show it to me again on her phone. It’s a nice little dream to have, ain’t it? A pretty bag, a little bit of fancy in your life. This YSL Saint Laurent bag is really something!
I saw people say this June Box Bag has some other colors and materials, like python. I don’t know what python is. But it sounds scary. I will just stick to this calfskin one. It is good enough.
